Why, it's me!

Hey there! I'm Van, a student of Advertising and Creative Writing.

I've always been a story-teller, ever since I could hold a pencil. Eventually, however, it was time to graduate from riveting topics like "the secret exploits of the family pets" to something that would truly challenge me.

Trained in the art of Copywriting at Humber College, I've tried everything from short and long copy, to direct mail, digital, you name it.

When I'm not thinking up headlines or hashing out copy, you can find me playing Tabletop Roleplaying Games, painting miniatures, or practicing my golf swing.

Timeline

2012-2015: Assumption College School, OSSD

I graduated with the Ontario Scholar Award & SHSM in Communications Technology.

2016-2020: University of Western Ontario, Bachelor of Arts, Honours Specialization in Creative Writing and English Language and Literature

Here I achieved the Dean's Honour List in 2017 and 2019, as well as won runner-up at the Western Smartphone Film Festival yearly from 2018-2020.

2020-2021: Humber College, Graduate Certificate, Advertising Copywriting

And here's where I really honed my craft, sharpening my blade on multiple campaigns across too many mediums to count.
